  • Pay Monthly is designed for businesses that take higher volumes of payments or that prefer to have their own merchant account. With this plan you have the option to apply for a Chip &PIN only account, a Telephone & Online Payments account or both.
  • Pay As You Go is ideal for start-ups and businesses that take low volumes of payments or that prefer to pay only when the service is used. it's a low cost managed service, with no admin fees or minimum usage charges.
  • All our pricing is published so you know exactly what you will pay. For personalised pricing we've provided a Online Quote Tool. This gives you a detailed breakdown of costs based on the services you need.
  • With the Pay As You Go account, as your business grows, you can easily upgrade to Pay Monthly and benefit from even lower rates and additional functionality.

P2PE Terminals from 15.00 +VAT per month

Free Refunds

PCI fee 3.50 per month

When ordering Chip & PIN terminals you will be asked to pay a 50.00 refundable deposit per terminal. You will not be asked to sign a fixed term contract and the terminal can be returned at any time. However, If you return the terminal within 12 months your deposit will be retained to cover refurbishment and administration.

Please note that each Paya Direct Merchant Account is subject to a monthly minimum usage charge of 20.00. If you wish to accept Chip & PIN and e-Commerce payments you will need two merchant accounts. These will be automatically provided when you apply.

Pay As You Go

Account set-up fee is 99.00

Our rates are based on your total card sales per week and automatically adjust to ensure you get the best rate. For Visa & MasterCard, the rate payable is:

Weekly sales band = the rate you pay:
0.00 to 500.00 = 2.90%
500.01 to 1000.00 = 2.70%
1000.01 to 2500.00 = 2.50%
2500.01 and over = 2.30%

American Express costs 2.95% per transaction. Rates apply to both credit and debit card payments.

Refunds are charged at 2.00%.

No PCI fees

A minimum fee of 30 pence applies to all transactions. Please note this is not an additional charge and only applies where the total cost of a transaction is less than 30 pence, typically on sales under 10.00.

Payments processed using our 24/7 contact centre are subject to a charge of 3.00 plus the normal transaction fee.

Terminals can be purchased from 99.00+VAT or on a pay as you go basis from 2.50 per week. With PAYG terminal pricing, you will be asked to pay a 50.00 refundable deposit per terminal. You will not be asked to sign a fixed term contract and the terminal can be returned at any time. However, If you return the terminal within 12 months your deposit will be retained to cover refurbishment and administration.

There are no minimum usage charges for this service.

While we can't promise to always be the lowest cost provider, we're confident that we offer the best value for money as a result of the rich functionality that's included with your account, multi-channel capabilities and PCI compliant P2PE processing platform. What's more because we don't lock you into a lengthly contract you can still monitor the market for new deals.

When comparing prices, ensure you have visibility of the rates for all card types - UK Domestic, Business, Premium, Non EEA and for non secure transactions.
